Where Your Money Goes
Currently, eighty percent of your donations go to support our transitional services for women in need and their children, our workshops for girls, and our vision. Twenty percent supports our fundraising efforts and covers administration.
The Delores Foundation, Inc.(TDF) was originally conceived in the heart of its founder, Rev. Vanessa B. Carter, on January 1, 2002. The Lord gave her a vision to begin a healing and transition ministry for women and children. The ministry’s focus would be to assist them in rebuilding their lives, by first, providing them a safe haven where they can be loved and nurtured; and then teaching them the skills they need to live productive lives. ...more
